Next Insurance US Company has filed a new inland marine program in California, introducing its Next Artisan Equipment Coverage Program with a requested effective date of July 1, 2026 for new business.

The filing, submitted January 13, 2026, targets contractors and small businesses and is built on ISO inland marine forms, supplemented by Next proprietary endorsements. Coverage includes contractors equipment, computer systems and installation, and motor truck cargo, with optional features such as agreed value scheduling, replacement cost, theft deductible waivers tied to GPS usage, business income for mobile operations, refrigeration breakdown, and coverage for recently acquired property.

This is a new program filing, and there are currently no policyholders impacted. The insurer does not intend to replace an existing program or renew policyholders into a replacement program.

Next says the program mirrors an inland marine framework already on file through an affiliated carrier and adopts current ISO forms and handbook classes, while not automatically incorporating future ISO updates.
