National General Withdraws Tennessee Motorcycle Programs

National General and Integon National Insurance Company are seeking to withdraw their motorcycle insurance programs in Tennessee, stating that neither program currently has any policies in force. The filing applies to products written through National General Insurance Company and Integon National Insurance Company, both part of the Allstate group.

According to the filing, the companies “wish to discontinue/withdraw these products” while retaining their certificates of authority in Tennessee for potential future use.

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance responded with an objection letter requesting additional details, including confirmation of affected policyholders, associated filings, and whether any business would be migrated to affiliated carriers.
