National General Introduces Custom360 Landlord Product in Arizona

National General, part of Allstate, has filed a new landlord insurance product in Arizona called Custom360 Landlord. The product is scheduled to take effect on August 20, 2026.

According to the filing, Custom360 Landlord is designed for owners of one- to four-unit residential properties used for non-commercial landlord purposes and is intended to complement National General’s existing Custom360 Home product, which was introduced in Arizona in 2021.

The policy includes standard landlord coverages for dwellings, other structures, personal property, liability, and fair rental income, along with optional endorsements such as water back-up coverage, service line protection, home systems protection, building codes coverage, burglary coverage, and extended replacement cost.

The filing also introduces endorsements for trusts, LLCs, and additional insureds, reflecting the growing use of legal entities to hold rental properties.

National General noted that a related rate and rule filing will follow and said the new offering allows existing Custom360 Home customers to insure rental properties through a product with a familiar structure and coverage approach.
