National Specialty Insurance Company, a Markel company, filed forms to support the launch of the Trident Marine Managers Recreational Marine Program, with Maryland new business effective March 15, 2026. The program is being introduced in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, and will be administered by Trident Marine Managers.

Filed under the Commercial Property line, the program adopts ISO forms, loss costs, and rules with additional broadened coverage enhancements. Applications will use ACORD forms, and Oden will support policy notices. Rates and rules were submitted separately under concurrent filings.

Coverage includes protection for buildings, business personal property, property in transit, and electronic data, along with additional protections for ordinance or law, sewer backup, outdoor property and glass, money and securities, extra expense following a loss, and optional coverage for certified acts of terrorism.
