Home State County Mutual Insurance Company filed a rate and rule update in Texas for its RAD7 Value Private Passenger Automobile program, introducing an overall rate decrease of 5%. The changes apply to new business effective February 19, 2026, and renewals beginning March 27, 2026.

The update affects 22,014 policyholders and approximately $62.8 million in written premium. The reduction is expected to lower written premium by about $3.1 million. The filing follows a prior revision in December 2025 that produced no rate change, and comes despite a modest actuarial indication of a 0.1% increase.
