Hadron Introduces Rainbow BOP in Texas

Hadron is introducing a new Businessowners Policy program in Texas, tied to Rainbow MGA Insurance Agency, Inc.’s distribution and underwriting platform.

The filing was submitted April 24, 2026, with a requested effective date of May 24, 2026 for new business. It represents a resubmission combining previously rejected filings into a single program, based on an existing Accelerant structure with refinements from operational experience.

The Rainbow program targets restaurants and personal care businesses—segments that align with its underwriting focus across casual dining and beauty and wellness risks.

The product includes a standard ISO-based Businessowners Liability Coverage Form alongside a broad set of endorsements. Key elements include:

  • Liability coverage for bodily injury, property damage, and personal and advertising injury
  • Medical payments coverage regardless of fault
  • Extensive exclusions, including PFAS, communicable disease, professional services, and data liability
  • Industry-specific endorsements such as restaurant packages, foodborne illness business interruption, and contamination shutdown coverage
  • Multiple additional insured options and liability deductible structures

Texas-specific provisions are also included, covering windstorm and hail limitations, roof surfacing restrictions, and state disclosures.

Rainbow, which has secured $20.08 million since its inception in 2021, also has underwriting partnerships with Incline and Accelerant.

Rainbow is broadly available nationwide through Accelerant, with both BOP and Excess Liability filed across most major states including CA, TX, NY, FL equivalents (e.g., GA, NC, VA), and Midwest markets; BOP typically leads rollout (often earlier filings), with Excess Liability following in the same states. Hadron supplements availability with BOP in Georgia and Texas, while Incline appears only in Texas for BOP, making Accelerant the primary nationwide carrier across both products.
