Grange Indemnity has filed for a 12.9% overall rate increase on its Passport Non-Standard Auto program in Tennessee, impacting 93 renewal policies starting October 27, 2025. The filing, submitted June 30, reflects rising costs across core coverages, including a 16.9% bump for Bodily Injury and 21.9% for Property Damage.
While Comprehensive coverage sees a 2.7% decrease, most lines—including Collision and Uninsured Motorist—are trending upward. Grange based its justification on combined Tennessee auto data due to limited product history, applying a 4% profit provision—well below its enterprise target of 14.7%. The last increase, effective in 2024, was 5.9%.
