Grange Insurance introduced a new personal auto program called “TrueCover Auto” in Georgia through a forms filing submitted on May 20, 2026.
Some of the more notable features include:
- Ridesharing gap coverage during the “waiting for dispatch” period for rideshare and delivery drivers.
- Mobile device coverage with up to $1,000 for phones, tablets, and similar electronics damaged or stolen inside the vehicle.
- Pet injury coverage with up to $1,000 for veterinary expenses or pet replacement costs for dogs and cats injured in a covered accident.
- New auto replacement coverage for vehicles up to two years old and total loss upgrade coverage for older vehicles.
- Optional “Auto Boost” and “Auto Advanced” packages that bundle higher limits and additional benefits such as accidental death coverage, personal property coverage, expanded rental benefits, and higher custom equipment limits.
- Coverage options for antique, classic, and special interest vehicles with restricted-use provisions.
- Roadside assistance options that include towing, lockout services, fuel delivery, and winching.
The program also introduces endorsements for miscellaneous vehicle types including motor homes, golf carts, utility trailers, all-terrain vehicles, dune buggies, and snowmobiles.
The company noted that rates and rules for the program will be filed separately. The requested effective date for new business is July 28, 2027.
