Centauri Specialty Insurance Company has submitted updates to its Texas HO3 homeowners program, with changes scheduled to take effect April 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.
The filing introduces several new optional coverage bundles, including the Lotus and Lotus Plus packages, along with versions designed for older homes. These endorsements expand protection with features such as extended dwelling replacement limits, replacement cost coverage for personal property, higher sublimits for certain losses, lock replacement, water backup protection, and additional loss assessment coverage.
Centauri is also adding new protections aimed at emerging and infrastructure-related risks. These include Home Systems Protection for mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns, Service Line Coverage for underground utility connections, and Home Cyber Protection with an annual aggregate limit of $25,000 covering cyber attacks, online fraud, and cyber extortion.
Other changes include a new Fortified Roof Upgrade option and updated forms for hurricane, windstorm, and foundation coverage in Texas. The filing is part of a broader program update that will be accompanied by separate underwriting, credit model, and rate and rule filings.
