Westfield Insurance filed a new Lawyers Professional Liability program in Idaho, introducing a standalone claims made policy for law firms.

The December 1, 2025 rate and rule filing seeks use and file approval for professional liability coverage, effective upon acknowledgement by the Idaho Department of Insurance.

The program targets small law firms and offers one year primary coverage, with premiums set per attorney and adjusted for factors such as firm size, practice areas, claims history, limits, and deductibles.

Optional coverages include crisis management, pre claim expenses, subpoena coverage, and limited cyber coverage, expanding Westfield’s professional liability offering in the state.
