The filing, submitted February 24, 2026, proposes an effective date of August 1, 2026, for new business and October 1, 2026, for renewals.

The updates expand the coverage territory to include trips to the Islands of the Bahamas, add a specific definition for “boat trailer,” and revise the definition of “business” to clarify that incidental entertainment and sponsor signage do not constitute business use.

These changes aim to broaden eligible use while providing clearer policy language for recreational boatowners.
