Lemonade is introducing the foundation of its private passenger auto program in Florida, signaling an upcoming market entry built on multiple pricing models.
The filings, submitted March 31, 2026 to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, outline three core components of the program: a VIN-based model, a usage-based insurance (UBI) model, and a territory model.
All three filings are introductory and do not yet include rates, rules, or forms, which are expected in separate submissions in the very near future.
The company is targeting an effective date of June 30, 2026.
