InsureMax, part of AssuranceAmerica, has introduced its Renters Protect program in Wisconsin.
The program offers personal property limits of $5,000 to $20,000 and personal liability limits ranging from $50,000 to $300,000. Deductible options are $250, $500 and $1,000, and policies are available with six- or 12-month terms.
Optional coverages include water backup, refrigerated personal property and damage to a landlord’s property caused by a pet. Customers with an auto policy from InsureMax or AssuranceAmerica qualify for a package discount.

The product will be distributed through agents, with new business submitted through the company’s agency portal. Separate pricing applies to policies sold through affinity partners and approved multi-dwelling-unit programs.
InsureMax said the program is relatively new and lacks credible Wisconsin-specific or program-wide experience. Its initial rates are based on company experience, competitor pricing, exposure characteristics and actuarial judgment. The carrier plans to adjust the program as Wisconsin experience develops.
The filing became effective Sept. 11, 2026.
