Hiscox filed for a 4.2% overall rate increase for its direct professional liability program in Georgia.

The increase would affect 8,302 policyholders and generate approximately $323,000 in additional written premium on a current premium base of $7.7 million. Individual policy increases would range from 0% to 5.5%.

The filing, which amends the program’s base rates, reflects an actuarially indicated increase of 5%. Hiscox last revised the program in August 2024, implementing a 13.9% increase.

The changes are expected to take effect September 14, 2026, for new business and January 12, 2027, for renewals.
