Hiscox Adds PFAS Exclusion to Entertainment Liability Program

Hiscox has filed a form update in California to introduce a new exclusion addressing perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) across its entertainment liability book.

Submitted on January 8, 2026, the filing seeks approval of the PFAS Exclusion Endorsement and is requested to be effective “on approval.” The endorsement will be a mandatory attachment for all policies written under Hiscox’s Entertainment General Liability Program.

Hiscox states the change is intended to proactively exclude “forever chemical” risks that were not contemplated in the original pricing and rating of the program.
