Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company and Enumclaw Property & Casualty Insurance Company received approval to raise rates for their NHP & NHPr Homeowners programs in Utah. Filed on April 16, 2025, and approved on May 7, the new rates take effect June 4, 2025, for both new and renewal business.

The 4.4% increase affects 1,610 policyholders across both companies. Mutual of Enumclaw’s share includes 233 policyholders and a $26.5K premium increase, while Enumclaw Property & Casualty covers 1,377 policyholders with a $141K increase. The total written premium is projected to rise from $3.8M to nearly $4M.

This marks the latest in a series of rate hikes, following a 47.1% increase approved in 2024. The rate changes are based on updated loss trends and base premium adjustments.
