Branch Insurance Exchange has filed for a 15% overall rate increase for its homeowners program in Michigan, according to a filing submitted on October 24, 2025.

The proposed change, which affects approximately 770 policyholders and $1.3 million in written premium, represents an indicated rate need of 16.1%, with individual policy impacts ranging from –6.4% to +37.2%.

The update introduces adjustments to base rates and rating factors across Michigan’s owner-occupied homeowners market. The filing follows Branch’s last approved increase of 19.9%, effective December 15, 2024, and maintains its prior approval filing method.
