Prudential (via Pruco Life Insurance Company) has filed an updated individual life insurance application in Florida, replacing its prior 2023 version with a new 2025 form designed exclusively for electronic sales and underwriting.

The revised application will be used for individual term life products and supports a fully digital customer journey, including online and telephone-based sales. Applicants must consent to electronic delivery and electronic or voice signatures, as the product is not available through paper-based processes.

Under the updated framework, underwriting relies primarily on automated decisioning supplemented by underwriter review, with most policies issued without medical exams or lab work. Instead, Prudential uses third-party data sources to assess risk, aiming to streamline approvals and accelerate policy issuance.

Policies and completed applications are delivered electronically, and telephonic applications are recorded and retained in line with regulatory requirements.
