Kin Insurance has filed two new discounts for its house and property insurance program in Georgia.

The Early Quote Discount applies when a policyholder obtains a quote at least seven days before the policy’s effective date. It provides a 10% discount during the initial term, followed by discounts of 8% and 6% during the next two terms.

The Home Buyer Discount applies when a property is insured through Kin within 13 months of its purchase. It provides a 10% discount during the initial term and 5% during the following term.

Kin said it introduced the discounts to improve its competitiveness in Georgia. The filing reports no overall rate impact because the discounts introduce new rating variables.

The file-and-use filing was submitted on July 28 with a requested effective date of July 29, 2026, for new and renewal business.
