Kin has filed to launch a personal auto insurance program in Georgia through Kin Interinsurance Nexus Exchange.

The new program will offer liability, collision, comprehensive, medical payments, and uninsured motorist coverage for private passenger vehicles used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. Commercial and delivery use is excluded.

Optional coverages include emergency roadside service and replacement-vehicle expenses when a covered vehicle is temporarily unusable. Customers may select uninsured motorist coverage that either adds to or is reduced by the at-fault driver’s liability limits.

Kin will also allow policyholders to exclude named household drivers, including high-risk drivers or those with poor driving records, to reduce premiums.

The forms are primarily based on AAIS templates, with Kin making several modifications. Rates and underwriting guidelines were submitted in a separate filing.

Kin is requesting a November 15, 2026, effective date for new and renewal business.

Bottom Line: Kin currently offers auto insurance in Florida and Texas.
