Auto-Owners Insurance Company and Owners Insurance Company have filed a rate and rule update in Virginia for their Businessowners program, effective January 31, 2026 for new business and March 25, 2026 for renewals.

The filing affects 1,180 policyholders and $3.86 million in written premium, with a combined premium change of –$7,341. The update replaces the BOP rate pages and results in a –3.1% decrease for Auto-Owners and a 0.5% increase for Owners. The prior BOP rate revision took effect in February 2025 with a 10.4% increase. No red flags were noted.
