USAA Expands Eligibility And Streamlines Subscriber Process In Tennessee

USAA submitted a form filing in Tennessee on February 19, 2026, introducing a new Subscriber Member Endorsement for its Umbrella and Rental Property Insurance policies.

The change, effective June 22, 2027, for both new and renewal business, broadens membership eligibility to include tenured enlisted service members. As a reciprocal insurer, USAA requires policyholders (subscribers) to appoint USAA Reciprocal Attorney In Fact, Inc. to manage operations on their behalf.

The filing also introduces a streamlined process for accepting the Subscriber’s Agreement. Instead of requiring a physical or electronic signature, subscribers will be deemed to have accepted the agreement upon payment of their premium.
