NGM Insurance Company, part of Main Street America and the American Family group, filed a workers’ compensation rate update in Georgia, effective September 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.

The filing revises the Loss Cost Multiplier to 2.66 and updates small deductible factors, resulting in an overall rate increase of 6.7%. The changes reflect adoption of NCCI approved loss costs.

The company has a limited presence in the state, with five policyholders and approximately $10,168 in written premium. NGM previously implemented a 0.5% rate decrease in December 2024.
