SiriusPoint to Exit Nirvana Program in Four States

SiriusPoint plans to withdraw its Connected Non-Fleet Insurance and Safety Program in Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Tennessee following the expiration and non-renewal of its managing general agency agreement.

The program was written exclusively through a general agency partner and is tied to Nirvana Insurance, with the filings including references to a “Nirvana Policy Jacket.” SiriusPoint announced its partnership with Nirvana in December 2023 to introduce a program for trucking operators with fewer than 10 power units.

SiriusPoint will stop marketing the program and accepting new business on Nov. 17, 2026. Existing policies will continue to be serviced until they expire, after which customers will be non-renewed in accordance with state requirements.

The filings show the program’s largest exposure is in Georgia. As of Sept. 1, the commercial auto portion included 170 policies representing approximately $5.7 million in written premium, while the commercial inland marine portion covered 131 policies and $341,295 in premium.

The general liability filings list 52 affected policies and $28,883 in premium in North Carolina, 19 policies and $11,517 in Tennessee, and two policies and $914 in Nevada. Policy counts across coverage components may overlap.

According to SiriusPoint, the withdrawal is limited to the Connected Non-Fleet program and is not expected to disrupt the market.
