SiriusPoint has filed revised rates and rules for its standard workers’ compensation program in Georgia, seeking an overall 7.4% premium decrease for both new and renewal business effective March 1, 2026.
The rate change reflects a lack of credible Georgia-specific historical data, leading the company to rely directly on the NCCI loss cost update as the indicated change. The proposed decrease impacts 11 in-force policies, with an estimated $39,884 reduction in written premium on a current book of approximately $539,000.
The filing also maintains existing program mechanics, including a $160 expense constant, standard minimum premium calculations, premium discount table usage, schedule rating parameters, installment payment plans, and pay-as-you-go payroll reporting options.
