AtHome Insurance Company, part of Plymouth Rock, has filed to introduce a new homeowners discount in New Jersey for customers who have completed eligible home renovations within the past 10 years. The filing is scheduled to take effect on October 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business and is not expected to change overall rates.

The discount applies to renovations involving plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems, provided the work was completed by qualified contractors and the renovated component was more than 10 years old. Discounts range from 1% to 3% depending on the type of renovation completed and gradually phase out over five years. Homeowners who complete multiple qualifying renovations can stack the discounts.

According to the filing, the new discount is based on a similar program previously introduced by Nationwide in New Jersey.
