Arch Insurance Company has filed a new rule in Texas to support its previously approved endorsement that provides broadened pollution liability coverage for commercial autos. The rule, part of the company’s Commercial Auto program, becomes effective July 1, 2025, and introduces no additional premium charge.
The Pollution Liability – Broadened Coverage for Covered Autos endorsement (form 00 CA0219 00) applies to Business Auto and Motor Carrier coverage forms. It extends coverage—on an excess basis—for pollution incidents involving substances discharged from, being transported by, or being loaded onto/unloaded from a covered auto. This coverage does not apply to pollution liability assumed under contract.
Filed under tracking number AICO-G134526466, the rule was approved in Missouri and submitted in Texas without a rate change.
