American National County Mutual Insurance Company submitted a filing on May 20, 2025, to revise its personal auto insurance program in Texas.
Effective November 30, 2025 for new business, the update introduces higher rental reimbursement limits and new optional endorsements offering up to $100 per day and $3,000 per occurrence.
Existing options are also revised to raise daily and maximum limits, while an older form is withdrawn.
The filing also includes updated language around cancellation and enhances the Cashback Program, which rewards policyholders with a 25% refund for maintaining eligible auto and home policies without claims.
The updated Cashback Program automatically enrolls customers who have both an eligible auto (or similar vehicle) policy and a homeowners (or similar) policy, as long as they don’t have a disqualifying policy. If the account stays claim-free for three years, they receive a cashback payment equal to 25% of the eligible premiums paid three years earlier. Claims for minor issues like roadside assistance or weather damage won’t disqualify them. To stay eligible, both policy types must remain active, and no ineligible policies—like those from the Young Families program—can be added.
