Zurich Adds Flood Exclusion Notice to Connecticut Homeowners Declarations

Zurich American Insurance Company, domiciled in New York, filed in Connecticut on October 9, 2025, through Arrowhead General Insurance Agency (AGIA) to update its Homeowners (HO3) program, effective July 1, 2026.

The form filing adds a required notice to the declarations page stating that flood damage is not covered and advising policyholders to contact their producer or the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) for flood coverage, in compliance with Connecticut Bulletin PC-93-25. AGIA manages and distributes the program for Zurich and oversees filing communications.

The filing also references MapRisk for coastal underwriting and confirms compliance with Connecticut’s homeowners policy standards, including minimum limits and coastal hurricane deductible rules.
