Zurich submitted a filing in Tennessee to refresh its veterinary professional liability program for members of AVMA Administrative Services, LLC, an affiliate of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
The filing includes updated policy forms, endorsements, rules, and rates for the program, effective January 1, 2027. According to the filing, the program is available in all 51 jurisdictions through the AVMA risk purchasing group.
Coverage includes veterinary professional liability, veterinary license defense, bailee coverage for animals in a veterinarian’s custody, and embryo and semen storage coverage.
Bottom Line: This is a book with at least $12 million in premium and 2,700 policyholders.
