Trusted Resource Underwriters Exchange (TRUE) has submitted its annual rate filing in Florida, proposing a rate-neutral revision to its HO-3 homeowners program.
The changes take effect March 10, 2026 for new business and April 2, 2026 for renewals.
While overall rates remain unchanged, the filing introduces a key structural update to the rating model. The company is expanding its peril framework by separating the former non-hurricane category into two components: Other Wind (OW) and All Other Perils (OP). Previously, the program used only two peril groupings—Hurricane and Non-Hurricane.
The revision also includes updates to rating factors and the homeowners program manual, along with supporting methodology and assumptions submitted to regulators.
