Nationwide and affiliated carriers received approval in Arizona for a homeowners update introducing new endorsements and revising existing forms.

The filing adds service line coverage for underground utilities such as water, sewer, electrical, and telecom lines.

Coverage changes:

• Homes under 50 years: $10K or $20K options (previously $10K only)
• Homes 50+ years: limit increased from $2,500 to $5,000

The update also introduces matching coverage for undamaged roof surfacing and siding, addressing partial losses that result in mismatched repairs.

In addition, Nationwide is adding an optional endorsement for hidden water seepage and leakage, offering limited buy-back coverage with selectable sub-limits.

The filing is forms-only, with effective dates of August 10, 2026 for new business and October 10, 2026 for renewals.
