IAT Files Aircraft Platinum Policy

IAT Insurance Group’s Harco National Insurance Company has submitted a Connecticut aviation filing that includes a new Aircraft Platinum policy form and a broad set of supporting endorsements.

The 171-item form schedule spans aircraft coverage, aviation general liability, and common policy provisions. Aircraft Platinum endorsements address managed and fractionally owned aircraft, air ambulance operations, aircraft engines, and ground support equipment.

The proposed forms also include crisis response, family assistance expenses, diminution in value, and hurricane protection coverage. Alongside those extensions are cyber incident and protected information exclusions, sanctions provisions, and sports team exclusions.

New common endorsements include multiyear policies, no-claims bonuses, and good-experience return premiums. Together, the schedule points to more options for tailoring coverage and policy terms across aviation accounts.

Harco requested a December 1, 2026 effective date for new and renewal business. The supplied export lists the forms but does not include their wording, limits, or pricing, leaving the precise coverage changes unconfirmed.
