Harco National Insurance Company has filed to withdraw its North American Timber Program in California.

The withdrawal covers commercial property, commercial package, inland marine, commercial umbrella and excess, commercial general liability, commercial auto, fidelity, commercial burglary and theft, and equipment breakdown coverage.

There are no policies in force, with the last policy expiring in September 2018. Harco said timber risks are no longer within its underwriting appetite and that the investment required to sustain the program would be better directed elsewhere.

The IAT Insurance Group subsidiary requested an immediate withdrawal effective July 20, 2026, and agreed not to file a replacement program for at least three years. Former writing agents were notified separately.
