HDI Files Workers’ Compensation Rate Decrease in Georgia

HDI Global Insurance Company has filed for an 8.8% overall workers’ compensation rate decrease in Georgia.

The decrease would affect 17 policyholders and reduce written premium by approximately $20,000 from a current premium base of $227,222.

The Hannover Group subsidiary is adopting the National Council on Compensation Insurance’s March 1, 2026, loss costs and rating values while maintaining its current loss cost multiplier of 2.211.

HDI last revised its rates in May 2025, implementing a 3.3% decrease. The latest changes are expected to take effect September 1, 2026, for new and renewal business.
