Hanover is introducing a new motorcycle and off-road vehicle insurance product in Maryland, effective August 11, 2025.

The filing includes a redesigned rating structure, new variables, and accompanying forms aimed at modernizing Hanover’s motorcycle offering and improving pricing accuracy.

The product features a broad list of coverages, including roadside assistance, trip interruption, accident forgiveness, and enhanced uninsured motorist protection. It also introduces rating by census block group, vehicle use scoring, multi-bike and seasonal discounts, and underwriting tier re-evaluation.

The filing supports Hanover’s expansion into specialty personal lines while addressing rising expectations around customization and tech-enabled underwriting.
