Encompass Seeks Auto Rate Cut In Kansas

Encompass Indemnity has filed for an overall 4.3% rate decrease on its private passenger auto business in Kansas, affecting more than 5,200 policyholders and approximately $13.8 million in written premium. The changes would apply to both new and renewal business, with proposed effective dates in early 2026.

Alongside the rate reduction, the filing introduces several structural updates, including revisions to base rates, territorial relativities, and premium calculation mechanics.
