COUNTRY Mutual Insurance Company, COUNTRY Preferred Insurance Company, and COUNTRY Casualty Insurance Company have filed a rule-only change in Idaho for their COUNTRY 2.0 Auto program, effective December 1, 2025, for both new and renewal business. The filing carries no rate impact and applies to the DriverIQ telematics discount rule.
The update increases the minimum available discount at renewal for users who do not have eligible driving scores and introduces a procedural improvement allowing inactive users to have their discounts reinstated immediately once they resume submitting trip data, rather than waiting until the next renewal cycle.
The DriverIQ Discount uses smartphone-based telematics to evaluate driving performance and determine savings eligibility. The change strictly affects the discount logic within the Private Passenger Auto program, with no rate capping or cupping applied.
The filing reached a Closed–Filed status and follows a prior related submission under SERFF tracking number CFPC-134670695.
