Everspan Insurance Company has filed revisions to Coterie’s businessowners program in Montana.
The rate-neutral filing adopts updated ISO property and liability loss costs and increases the amount of subcontracted work allowed for eligible contractors from 10% to 50% of gross sales.
The revisions also add several mandatory or conditional endorsements, including exclusions related to space weather, uninsured subcontractors, docks, liquor-related assault and battery, and cannabis products. Terrorism coverage will be included at no additional cost.
The program is sold through Coterie’s online platform and currently has no policies in force in Montana. The changes are scheduled to take effect January 1, 2027, for new business and April 1, 2027, for renewals.
