American Access Casualty, part of Kemper, is closing its Nevada Standard 2.0 private passenger auto program to new business effective September 25, 2026, while continuing to renew existing policies.
The change is reflected in an updated underwriting manual filed with the Nevada Division of Insurance and does not include any rate changes.
As of May 2026, the carrier reported 2,153 policies and $8.4 million in written premium in Nevada.
According to the filing memorandum, the sole purpose of the update is to revise the underwriting guide to indicate that the program will no longer accept new business beginning September 25. Renewal business will remain available under the existing program.
