Progressive has filed for rate increases affecting more than 331,000 personal auto policyholders in Nevada.

Progressive Direct Insurance Company is seeking an overall increase of 5.9%, which would generate approximately $20.5 million in additional written premium across 237,181 policyholders. Individual rate changes would range from a decrease of 15.1% to an increase of 23.9%.

Progressive Northern Insurance Company is requesting a 2.9% increase affecting 94,393 policyholders and generating approximately $4.6 million in additional premium. Individual changes would range from a decrease of 15.7% to an increase of 12.3%.

Combined, the changes would add approximately $25.1 million in written premium across a $509.7 million book of business.

The filing remains pending and includes updates to several rating factors. Progressive requested an effective date of November 13, 2026, for new business and December 20, 2026, for renewals.
