Hagerty is seeking regulatory approval to introduce its Enthusiast+ auto insurance program in Tennessee.
The program, offered through Hagerty subsidiary Drivers Edge Insurance Company, is designed for car enthusiasts who use collector vehicles as their regular means of transportation—a segment generally excluded from traditional collector-car policies.
Available coverages include business use, custom features, vehicles under construction, spare parts and tools, off-road and overlanding use, rental reimbursement and Hagerty’s Cherished Salvage coverage, which allows owners to retain a vehicle following a covered total loss.
Optional motorsports coverage extends to autocross and high-performance driver education events. The program also includes coverage for collector motorcycles and vehicles undergoing special builds.
The filing is pending regulatory review and targets a September 15, 2026, effective date for new business.
