Essentia Insurance Company filed a rule revision for its Premier Collector Personal Auto Program in Kansas, effective January 15, 2026, for new business and February 15, 2026, for renewals. The filing does not affect rates.

The update renames the “Motor Vehicle Accident Avoidance Course Premium Reduction” to the “Accident Prevention Course Discount” and expands the 5% discount to include Collision coverage in addition to Liability, Motorcycle Passenger Liability, and Personal Injury Protection.

Other available discounts include a 10% Multiple Policy Discount and a 5% Accident Prevention Course Discount for drivers who complete an approved safety course within the past 36 months.

The Premier Collector program, part of Markel Corporation, covers antique, classic, exotic, and special-interest vehicles valued at $500,000 or more.
