Builder Reciprocal Insurance Exchange has filed to launch a homeowners insurance program in Georgia, with Millennial Specialty Insurance acting as the program administrator. The offering will include HO-3 and HO-6 policies, with a proposed new-business effective date of November 5, 2026.
With no historical experience of its own, BRIE based the program on QBE’s Praetorian Insurance Company’s approved rating structure and set its initial rates 39.9% higher than Praetorian’s existing rates.
The program includes coverage limits of up to $1.5 million, discounts for newer and recently purchased homes, a builder credit of up to 15%, and credits for fortified homes, renovations, protective devices, and policies placed alongside auto coverage through the same agency. It also introduces a subscriber fee, optional matching coverage for undamaged roofing and siding, and a roof-payment schedule for wind and hail losses.
BRIE is also giving members reasons to return after buying a policy. Benefits include three free months of an Armadillo home warranty, 15% off a FloLogic leak-detection and automatic shutoff system, three free months of Upfort digital protection, and access to Working Advantage discounts on hotels, theme parks, dining and other experiences. The warranty and digital-protection offers continue at reduced monthly rates after the free period.

Bottom Line: The fourth element of modern insurance.
