Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has filed a new ISO-based general liability program in Connecticut under its Berxi brand, targeting small businesses.

The “Small Business Liability” product includes several company-specific endorsements and adopts the latest ISO filings for loss costs and rating plans.

Highlights of the program include incidental business personal property coverage, optional supplemental coverage via floater, and professional incident liability endorsements for individuals and facilities.

Also included is a total phthalates exclusion.

The filing notes that future ISO updates will not be adopted automatically but instead filed separately.

BHSI requested an effective date of June 15, 2025.
