Trisura Insurance Company has submitted an initial rate, rule, and form filing for a new Habitational Commercial Package program in Kansas, administered by Honeycomb Programs. The filing was submitted on February 17, 2026, with a requested effective date of March 1, 2026 for both new business and renewals.

The program adopts ISO commercial property, general liability, and commercial package forms, along with proprietary Honeycomb endorsements and enhancements. Coverage includes commercial property and general liability, with optional features such as equipment breakdown, ordinance or law coverage, directors and officers liability, hired and non owned auto, and expanded property protections under Honeycomb’s Hexagon enhancement.

The filing also introduces several habitational specific risk controls, including exclusions or sublimits for habitability claims, fungi or bacteria, assault and battery, abuse or molestation, animal liability, and other high severity exposures. Additional terms include per unit deductibles for water damage, ice damming, and similar loss drivers.

The program targets residential and multi family properties and represents Trisura’s initial rollout of the Honeycomb habitational offering in Kansas.
