The endorsement clarifies that an auto leased for six months or more, under an agreement requiring the insured to provide primary coverage, will be treated as an owned auto rather than a hired one.

In conjunction with this change, Travelers updated the Rhode Island exception to its countrywide rule manual to include the new endorsement as a required form. The filing does not impact rates and is intended to ensure consistent treatment of long-term leased vehicles across policies.
