Rocket Title has filed a new technology-enabled title insurance product in Alabama, Connecticut, and Virginia for residential refinance transactions.
The Core Loan Policy carries a flat premium of $250 for loans of up to $1 million. Eligibility and underwriting will be processed through the Rocket Title Intel automated title search and decision engine—or another authorized engine—with qualifying transactions receiving expedited review.

Rocket says the technology can reduce title review time from approximately three days to one hour. The policy provides lender’s coverage, fraud protection and a duty to defend, and is designed to meet Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA requirements.
The company explicitly framed the product as a response to aggressive pricing initiatives introduced by the government-sponsored enterprises. In other words, Rocket is offering lenders a lower-cost, automated title insurance alternative as GSE-backed title waivers create greater competition for traditional policies.
The filing requests an effective date of September 21, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
