Progressive Direct, Progressive Northern, and Progressive Northwestern—part of the Progressive Group of Companies—filed to introduce an optional Renters Insurance Add-On Coverage Endorsement in Idaho, effective April 10, 2026 for new business and May 8, 2026 for renewals.

The endorsement, available through both Agency (A401A) and Direct (A401D) channels, extends renters liability and property protection to auto policyholders. Coverage includes personal property, loss of use, home computer protection up to $5,000, and personal liability. Exclusions apply to cryptocurrency and certain animals, and the endorsement cancels in tandem with the underlying auto policy.
