Kin Seeks Confidential Treatment for Georgia Cancellation Report

Kin Interinsurance Nexus Exchange has submitted its quarterly property insurance cancellation and nonrenewal report to Georgia regulators, requesting trade secret protection for the reported information.

The October 26 filing covers its House and Property business. In an accompanying affidavit, Kin says the information has competitive value, is not publicly available elsewhere and is subject to measures preventing disclosure.

The publicly available documents do not disclose cancellation or nonrenewal counts or reasons. The filing is a quarterly report, rather than an announcement of a market withdrawal or new nonrenewal plan.
